GeoGebra Applets

GeoGebra is an interactive geometry software which has many optential uses in a math classroom, one of which is through the creation of applets. Here are a few applets which have been made using GeoGebra.



Rectangular & Polar Coordinates Applet
This applet allows students to see the difference between rectangular and polar coordinates.



Ratios & Properties of Similar Triangles
This applet allows students to interact with different ratios between similar triangles. It has both a right triangle and a non-right triangle. The students manipulate the multiplying factor which creates the similar triangles. They can view either the measures of the angles or the lengths of the sides (or both) of the two triangles.



Polygon Angle Sums Lesson
A collection of applets designed to lead students to discover the relationship between the number of sides of a polygon and the sum of the angles contained within the polygon.
